Cosplay outfits in the One Piece girls v2 dress up

Male school uniform, from Ouran High School Host Club

I considered the girl uniform as well since the rest of the school uniforms have the female version, but the yellow dress is pretty ugly and the heroine wears the male uniform anyway so...

Female school unifrorm, from Bakemonogatari

Bakemonogatari joins the school uniform group in the cosplay sections in my dress ups. Why did I have to use such a horrible pink for the shirt?

After drawing all the school uniform cosplays I noticed I didn't give them any shoes. Whatever, many of the normal shoes can go just fine.

Female school uniform, from Azumanga Daioh

Female school uniform, from Lucky Star

This was the first cosplay outfit I drew. I guess it was easy to start with... I haven't even seen the whole Lucky Star show, I stopped watching around episode four.

Female school uniform, from Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi

Hikaru Shidou, from Magic Knight Rayearth

She was my least favourite character by a large margin, but her school uniform was most fun and the easiest to recognise.

Utena Tenjou, from Revolutionary Girl Utena

Originally I planned to have both Utena and Anthy, but then I remembered that I have this stupid "only one outfit / series" rule and I had to choose which one to include. Utena won because I considered it easier to draw than Anthy's flowy dress.

Belle, from Beauty and the Beast

I've always preferred the blue commoner dress over the yellow... thing. But I guess flashy dresses appeal more to the little girls who love princesses? I didn't have a proper pic of the shoes so I just thew something vague in.

I also considered Ariel's blue dress as well, but I decided not to add it since it's so similar to Belle's dress.

Fa Mulan, from Mulan

When going through passable Disney movies Mulan was an insta-qualifier. I also considered the pink matchmaker outfit, but in the end I like this more, and it was easier to draw.

Toph Beifong, from Avatar the Last Airbender

And here comes my newest obsession! She was such a well written character that it's been a while since I've last seen one as good. And she even had a good character design and outfit on top of that!

Lyra, from Pokemon

I think we've reached the point where I include the Lyra cosplay for the sake of including it instead of because I actually like it that much... But it just has to be, if there is a cosplay section, Lyra has to be in! Though I think I would have liked to include Mei the new girl from Pokemon Black2White2 as well to celebrate the new games, but the unwritten rule says of one outfit / series... Why do I have to have so many stupid rules?

Astrid, from How to Train Your Dragon

Hnnnnnggggh I love the movie! I didn't see it at a movie theathre since all the reviews I saw were "ummm it was an ok movie, nothing particularly outstanding" (and I didn't live near a theathre anyway back then) and when I recently got hold of the DVD I had next to no expectations on it. Plus there was Dreamworks' track record of making movies where you characters are jerks and many jokes are either pop culture references or just laughing at stupid characters. But How to train your dragon surprised me in the most pleasing way.

Astrid was not one of the reasons why I enjoyed the movie so much (she was too much of a girl included for the sake of getting a romatic plot for the protagonist), but since she was the only girl I had little choice on the character.

Nausicaa, from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

I wanted to draw a Ghibli outfit but I wasn't sure which to choose. In the end I went for Nausicaa again, since the others were so simple and somewhat boring.

Korra, from the Legend of Korra

The sequel wasn't nearly as awesome as the original series to me, but Korra still had a nice outfit.

Jessie, from Toy Story

I thought she'd be more fun to draw, but in the end the outcome was pretty boring. I guess she'd need Woody or Buzz to go with her to look better.

Ahiru, from Princess Tutu

Stocking, from Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

Madoka Kaname, from Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Madoka Magica has such great outfits for all the girls that it was difficult to choose. Mami would have been the second option.

Layering the other ribbon under the head might have been a mistake since you can't see it properly with many of the hairstyles.

Blue Rose, from Tiger&Bunny

N00bs don't know of the awesomeness of Tiger&Bunny.

Dragon kid would have been nice as well and I don't even remember why I ended up with Blue Rose instead. I'm sure that Dragon Kid would have been easier to draw...

Seth Nightroad, from Trinity Blood

Despite having included cosplay outfits in many of my dress ups I noticed to my horror I that I hadn't drawn a Trinity Blood outfit in any of them. Then, when drawing the Seth outfit for this one I remembered that the reason for it is that they're pretty annoying and time consuming to draw... But despite this outfit taking hours to draw it of course sparked the interest to make a new TB dress up game! It's been over a year since I last drew one, and now that I remember how annoying it is I have the sudden urge to make a new one! Why does my brain work this way!?

Princess of the Crystal, from Mawaru-Penguindrum
