Yotsuba Dress up
March 7, 2009 Yotsuba Koiwai, from Yotsuba&! This is one of the smallest games I've made. I had reference material for many other clothes, but at some point I had started so many simultaneous projects that the Yotsuba game sort of got buried under them, and I knew that I would never have time to draw all her outfits. So I decided to upload it the way it is. Maybe a brighter colourscheme would have suited Yotsuba better, but I'm actually quite pleased with the grayish shades I used. Somehow it makes the game look calm. I should try colouring this way more often. Drawing different T-shirts was fun (and not too much work). |

One Piece Girls Chibi Dress up
March 28, 2009 Female characters from One piece This game was fun to make, and I wouldn't mind making a new version with better graphics. The too thick borderlines sort of annoy me about this. And the fact that I never bothered to fix some of the bugs the game has with snapping. It still bothers me that I got Sadi-chan and Domino's colourscheme wrong... For those who have experince on drawing with Flash: I think this is the only game which I kept at 200% while drawing, all the others have been 400% or 800%. That's why the borderlines are so thick. |

School Girl Dress up
April 2, 2009 My first character maker. Nowadays it's quite embarrassing, but I remember being very proud of making it back then. I think it has the base colour and 4 levels of shading, which were a nightmare to draw, because back then I didn't know how to avoid the problem. Nowadays I could make this same game in... 1/3 of the time? Something like that. I like the idea, and if I remember correctly a v2 of this should be on my to-do list. It's going to be fun looking for reference for that one. Why don't the necties have yellow for a colour option? |

K-ON! Dress up
May 23, 2009 Mio, Yui, Ritsu and Tsumugi, from K-ON! I've never liked K-on, it's moeness is far too forced. But Ritsu and Tsumugi are cool (Mio and Yui are far too "I'm cute cute love me nooooow~~~ Buy all the merchandice associated with me now!! ^_^"). And they had awesome clothes in the ending "Don't say lazy". I had a lot of problems drawing their eyes, so I ended up tracing them. Embarrassing... |

Pokemon Trainer Dress up
June 10, 2009 This game is quite old, but it's still one of my favourites. The art is a bit outdated but not too bad, and the customisation part works nicely and gives a lot of opportunities. As of now it's my most popular deviation. Nowadays I can't really update it "thanks" to my computer. The .fla file of the game is so huge that it takes the computer over 10 minutes to open it for editing, and every process takes insane amount of loading as well. And there's always the risk that the computer crashes due to overloading. It really bothers me, because I'd like to fix the bug with the hair at least. The quality of the buttons in the hair category embarrasses me... It really annoys me how people can't read ~3 lines of artist's comments before going "Can you add *my favourite pokemon*??!!1"... |

Naruto Character Creator
July 8, 2009 The Naruto character creator is so embarrassing that sometimes I've even considered removing it... But apparently it manages to entertain some people, so I'll let it be. But still, the artwork is horrible. The customisation part, however, works a bit better. This game has managed to reach quite a lot of popularity on DA, but I say that's mainly because it's

ARIA Dress up
July 20, 2009 Girls from ARIA This is already quite an old game, but I still somewhat like the artwork. When I drew the game I was very proud of the eyes, but it turned out that you can't see the detail if you don't zoom in. Now I can say that the eyes aren't that special, but the blinking animation is still nice. This is yet again one of the games that had a huge amount of reference but ended up having only a part of the planned clothes. I'm happy about how the red shirt turned out. Aika turned out the best, I like her underwear the most and her hairstyles turned out mostly well. Poor Athena didn't get any alternative hairstyles... |

Mulan Dress up
August 11, 2009 Mulan fron Disney's Mulan This is one of my smaller projects. I probably started this after watching Mulan on DVD and noticing that she had surprisingly many outfits. This would deserve better artwork. And her "Ping" hairstyles look lame. This has outfits from the sequel as well. I haven't seen it, but I glanced through it on Youtube when searching for reference. I wonder what Disney thinks about the whole movie being on YT? Well it has probably been deleted ages ago by now. |

Edward Elric Dress up
August 18, 2009 Edward Elric, from Fullmetal Alchemist I think I started collecting Edward reference material before I even got the program, but it took me over half a year to actually make the game. And in the end I didn't even use most of the reference, as it was mainly from the anime, and by then I had lost interest in it. Now I'm manga only (or Brotherhood, which I haven't really seen. But it didn't exist back then). While drawing the clothes it really bugged me that his legs are of different sizes... But at that point I didn't feel like altering the base body anymore and decided that the automail wasn't THAT much bigger. The eyes turned out quite bad. Wait a moment, is this the only male-only game I've ever made? |

Kunoichi Dress up
September 5, 2009 Female characters, from Naruto I'm still surprisingly satisfied with the base doll, and I like the game in general. It's not too messy and the artwork is decent. I purposely left Hinata out since I don't like her, but I decided to be civil in the artist's comments and just state I left her out because I don't like her and leave it at that. Apparently there are a lot of people who couldn't cope with the fact, and I still get regularly comments on how I should change the game so that it pleases Hinata fans. It sort of annoys me that I guessed Kushina's colourscheme wrong, but I've lost interest in Naruto and don't feel like updating this game any more. Ever since making the game the status of female characters in Naruto has gone downhill. Hanabi turned out cool here. She needs a dress up of her own. |

Naruto Couples Dress up
November 6, 2009 Characters from Naruto When I got my first premium membership I decided to make a poll about which game I should make next. Though I already knew that the Naruto couples game would win even before I published the poll... Well whatever it won. I get a lot of comments of people asking me to add their favourite character. If I accepted person #29204's request and drew Kakashi for them, #409583, #94380, #39045 and #1929 would start going "Since you added Kakashi, can you add Deidara, Shizune, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Anko, Orochimaru, the ramen girl, Tsuchikage's assistant number 2 etc for me???". And I really am not interested in that. Yaoi and yuri options get asked often as well. I asked in people not to request for these things in the artist's comments, but apparently it's too hard to read them...
Not to mention the whole "wheres Hinata" deal... |
Seth Nightroad Dress up
December 12, 2009 Seth Nightroad, from Trinity blood My pride and joy. At first I didn't like Seth as a character, but she quickly grew on me. I really loved looking for all the reference pictures for her outfit. Drawing the outfits usually followed the following pattern:
Despite this I really love it when I find an outfit I can add. Especially heartwarming is when a visitor points out a missing dress and gives a reference picture. Even if the visitor proably isn't nearly as crazy about her outfits as I am, for a moment it feels like I'm not completely alone with my insane obsession. I'm more than aware that hardly anyone knows the sources of the outfits, so if someone is able to notice that something is missing from the mass of the outfits it's really awesome. Thanks to those who have helped me *still accepting reference for missing outfits*! The anime and novel design options were quite late additions. The anime design looks silly in my version, but I really like how the novel one turned out. The original manga design could do with a bit of tweaking... See the source material for her outfits here. |
Christmas Dress up
December 24, 2009 This game came pretty much out of nowhere. I guess I had played christmas games before Chirstmas and decided to make my own. If I remember correctly one reason was, however, that I wanted to use a premade doll that was left unused when I didn't feel like finishing the game it was supposed to be in. As the artist's comments of the game explain, this game grew many times larger than what it was first intended. It's still quite small and simple for a game made by me, but I still like it. The "other" category has stuff that pleases me. And I remember being very proud of myself when I managed to code the colour chaning system all on my own without tutorials. |
Luffyko Dress up
December 30, 2009 Female version of Luffy, from One Piece One of the smallest games I've made. I used some clothes from a Luffyko cosplay pic I had drawn some time earlier. The colours in this game are a bit too pale. I like Luffyko quite a lot, and I think she'd deserve a better game. Maybe I'll try to make another one where she is cuter. |
